is the lelive range effective + natural?
lelive is formulated to give you clear and glowing skin. it is made by experts, using the best quality ingredients and is dermatologist approved.
products use a combination of natural and scientific ingredients that focus on getting you results.
over 95% of the ingredients are natural, such as bakuchiol, shea butter, turmeric, and african mahogany etc.
the rest of the ingredients are gold standard scientific actives that are clean and effective. some examples are niacinamide, vitamin c, hyaluronic acid, salicylic acid, and peptides.
this means our products are both natural and highly effective, and can lead to lots of different benefits such as evening and brightening skin tone, clearing acne, hydrating the skin, controlling oil, and giving you a glow.
are lelive products made of clean ingredients?
we consider ourselves clean and conscious.
we will never use the following ingredients, amongst others:
sulphates (SLS/ SLES), parabens, phthalates, formaldehydes, silicones.
micro beads, PEG's, BPAs, petroleum-derived ingredients.
mineral oils, oxybenzone, chemical sunscreens.
is lelive local?
we are proudly local and produced in South Africa.
our ingredients and processes are certified to international standards.
most of our natural botanics and oils are from Africa, but some of the scientific actives are from abroad.
all ingredients are of high quality and traceable back to the farmer.
is lelive sustainable?
we use aluminium and glass packaging.
we also use FSC certified paper.
most of our packaging is recyclable and we highly encourage it. we have recycling bins at select wellness warehouses.
our products are reef and ocean safe, we only use mineral sunscreen.

yes. all lelive's products are pregnancy-safe. lelive has taken great care to formulate products with ingredients that are considered safe during pregnancy.

what level of active ingredients does lelive use?
most of our products contain multiple actives, so we have taken great care to formulate at levels and combinations that lead to the best results.
certain ingredients from suppliers are powerful. therefore we use at the maximum and optimal recommended levels that wont cause irritation.
when will I see first results after using lelive products?
some results like hydration and glow can be seen almost immediately.
with other concerns such as hyperpigmentation and acne, you may start seeing results within 4 weeks, but for some it might take a bit longer.
do lelive products contain fragrances?
lelive products contain no artificial fragrances. we do use natural essential oils in some of our products, but at low and safely recommended levels.
are lelive products suitable for sensitive skin?
our products have been tested with sensitive skin and are dermatologist-approved.
we use ingredients at safe levels that are not meant to irritate.
please note that if you have overly sensitive skin always patch test first, and stop use immediately if irritation occurs.
what type of skin reactions are normal when using lelive products?
tingling and slight redness is normal, especially if using a exfoliant.
if you have an allergic reaction or excessive burning stop using the product immediately, and contact us.
how long do lelive products last?
your product should last about 6-8 weeks with regular use.
what is lelive products' expiry date?
lelive products have a 2 year shelf life.
recommended period-after-opening (POA) is 6 months.
lelive advises using the product within this timeframe to ensure the best quality and efficacy.
